The location of the lodge is wonderful, with tranquil surroundings and beautiful views of the lake. the lodge itself is well-equipped and comfortable, with a BBQ in the garden and al fresco dining options. the village and the Jurassic Coast are easily accessible, offering plenty of opportunities for exploration.
The lodge could use some maintenance and improvements, as there were a few issues with cleanliness and missing amenities.

However, I must admit that the location of the lodges was quiet and easily accessible. We appreciated the pleasant views and the tranquility of the surroundings. The lodges were also well-located for visiting nearby attractions.
The lodge we stayed in was not well-maintained and lacked basic amenities. We were told that the remote would be replaced but it arrived without batteries, rendering it useless.

The location of the lodge was absolutely peaceful and serene, with a breathtaking view of the lake. The log cabin had all the necessary facilities and was spotlessly clean. Additionally, the lodge had modern amenities, such as a comfortable bed and a beautiful bathroom. It also had a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely garden to relax in.
The TV in the lodge could have been slightly bigger.

loved the tranquil and peaceful location of this well-equipped lodge. Fantastic amenities and modern facilities made our family holiday special. The beautiful lake view and the option to BBQ added to the charm. It was even better than our previous stay in Yeovil.

The lodge we stayed in was beautiful and had all the modern facilities we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped and we had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The location was peaceful and quiet, which was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We also loved the fact that we could bring our small dog with us and he had a great time exploring the area. The nearby farm shop was a great bonus, as we were able to buy delicious local produce and have a barbecue.
The TV in the lodge could have been slightly bigger. We felt that the size of the TV didn't quite match the overall quality of the lodge and amenities.

Clean lodge with good facilities, including games and cards. Beautifully presented breakfast provided by the daughter of the host. Tranquil and secluded location with easy access to Somerset and Dorset. Enjoyed al fresco meals overlooking the lake and the company of ducks during breakfast. Charming village pub with surprisingly great food.

Great peaceful location on the edge of a pretty village. We loved waking up and looking out over the lake, it was absolutely stunning. The log cabin had all the facilities we needed and we even enjoyed a delicious meal at the local village pub. The hot tub was a real treat and the Wi-Fi was reliable.
The double bed was a bit narrow and spongy, which affected our comfort during the night. Additionally, the cleanliness of the lodge could have been better, with some cobwebs and dust in certain areas.

We booked Heron Lodge on a whim and were delighted with our decision. The lodge was cozy, tranquil, and had a beautiful view of the lake. It was one of the most relaxing stays we had during our 5-month road trip around Europe. The amenities were brilliant, with modern facilities and a well-equipped kitchen. The lodge was spotlessly clean and spacious, and we enjoyed the hot tub and the hot and powerful shower. The location was wonderfully remote yet easily accessible, and we loved the freedom to book for a flexible period of time. We can recommend this hotel!

We had an incredible weekend getaway! The lodge was cozy and well-equipped, with a beautiful view of the lake. We loved how clean and comfortable everything was, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was perfect - peaceful and remote, yet easily accessible. We enjoyed the tranquility and the stunning night skies. The option to have breakfast provided was a nice touch, and we loved having the secure garden for our children to play in. The ducks joining us for breakfast was a highlight for the kids!
The lack of privacy between lodges and hot tubs. Our neighbors seemed to feel the same way, as they hurriedly retreated when they saw us on our decking.
